newfrend™️ was founded by David Sanchez, whose journey in the cannabis industry began in 2014 when he took a job cleaning cannabis plants at one of Colorado's first indoor cultivation centers. Despite initial uncertainty and his mother's opposition, David pursued a career in the cannabis industry after graduating from CU Boulder with a chemistry degree. His passion for cannabis grew as he worked in laboratories, learning from industry giants and spending six years in corporate roles, earning two patents along the way.
Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, David envisioned creating a stylish, high-quality cannabis product for everyday consumers. With his deep understanding of cannabis cultivation and business, he gathered a team of close friends and industry leaders to bring his vision to life, resulting in the creation of newfrend™️.
